Treba Mildred Fowler, age 85, of Benton died Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was born March 27, 1927 in Saline County. Treba was retired from the US Postal Service, and a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church since 1954, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada Garrett Lawrence, husband Robert Fowler, grandson, Patrick Jay Fowler, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Pam Fowler, Benton; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Doug Thompson, Haskell; sisters, Pauline Fooks, Benton; Ruth Vandergrift, Benton; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Ashby’s.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mt. Harmony Cemetery. Ministers will be Bro. Robbie Horne and Bro. Larry Campbell.
