Margie Moody, 85, of Benton, passed away July 12, 2012. She was born January 9, 1927 in Benton to the late Roy Robert and Josie Keene Wilson. Margie was a member of the Grape Chapel Church of God, Senior Adult Center, CJCOHN, and Sharon Home Extension of Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charlie Moody, granddaughter, Kristy Kurtz and great granddaughter, Emma Kurtz, brothers, Melton, Elton and Doyle Wilson, sisters, Edith Woodall, Lois Berry and Emma Hussey.

Survivors, daughters, Velma Wilson and husband, Dale of Benton, Darlene Kurtz and husband, Lee of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren, Darla Brimhall and Brent Wilson of Benton, Ron Wilson of Lake Wales, Florida, Paula McDaniel, San Antonio, Texas and Ken Kurtz, Saxapahaw, North Carolina, great grandchildren, Rylea Brimhall, Cade Brimhall, Brenna Wilson, Hannah Wilson, September Wilson, Jayme McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel, Logan McDaniel, Ryan McDaniel and Isabelle Kurtz and brother, I.J. Wilson of Benton.

Chapel Services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Monday with Rev. Charles Sandlin, Rev. Melvin Wilson, Rev. Clayton Perry and Rev. Timothy Via officiating. Burial will follow at Deaton Cemetery in Benton.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Ashby Funeral Home.
