David Melton Eubanks, age 63, of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012. He was born December 5, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. David was a retired Disabled American Navy Veteran and served on the USS Constellation during the Vietnam War, serving from 1967 to 1970. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and of the Baptist Faith. David was preceded in death by his father, Leon R. Eubanks and four siblings, Momi Eubanks, John W. Huff, Leon R. Eubanks Jr. and Roger A. Eubanks.

He is survived by his son, David Melton Eubanks II of Spring, Texas; daughter, Sherry Elliott of Malvern; mother, Mary Huff Eubanks of Benton; sister, Renita McDaniel and husband Don of Benton; great-uncle, Bill Huff of Bellflower, California; two grandchildren, David Melton Eubanks III and Catherine Haley Eubanks and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Memorial services will be 12:00 noon Monday, July 16 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
