Wanda Ouida Burks Parsons, 81, of Benton, passed away July 15, 2012. She was born July 24, 1930 in Benton to the late Tommy E. and Ruby Lea Crook Burks. Wanda was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Euel Parsons and a brother, Tommy Ray Burks.

She is survived by two daughters, Billie June Lovell and husband Lanny and Sandra Pelton; two sons, Robert Gary Parsons and wife Jan and Terry Parsons and wife Sherry all of Benton; sister, Martha Lea Tumey of Lake Village; nine grandchildren, Matt Hollowell and wife Kim, Jayme Nalley and husband Dillon, Lani Lovell, Shane Parsons and wife Stephanie, Adam Parsons and wife Becky, Wesley Parsons, Angel Cuffel and husband Joe, Dustin Parsons and Layne Parsons all of Benton; six great-grandchildren, Clay Cuffel, Hannah Cuffel, Michael Cuffel, McGregor Parsons, Clair Parsons and Andrew Parsons and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at New Friendship Cemetery.

The family will be at 3025 Harrison Rd in Benton.
