U.S. Veteran

Marlin Ray Wright, age 67, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born April 7, 1945 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Ray was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Arkansas State Trooper. He was a member of the Arkansas Retired State Police Association and always quietly donated to several charities. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Bertha Wright; two brothers, Joe Wayne and Ralph Wright and three sisters, Shirley Bradley, Billie June Horvath and Juanita Jacobs.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Wright; two daughters, Paula Wright and Sheryl Jackson and husband Steven; two brothers, Kay and Alfred Wright and a sister-in-law, Jane Stewart.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 27 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home in Cabot with services beginning at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital or your favorite charity.
