Jr. Westbrook, 87, of Haskell, passed away July 26, 2012. He was born February 9, 1925 in Haskell to the late Dolph and Gertie Sims Westbrook. Jr. was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and served in the Army during WWII.

Preceded in death by his parents, son, Dean Westbrook.

Survivors, wife, Myrtle Westbrook of Haskell, sons, Johnny Lee Westbrook and wife, Patricia, Bobby Lynn Westbrook and wife, Ophelia, daughter, Anita Sue Carter and husband, Kevin, all of Haskell, grandchildren, Jeannie Otts and husband, Mike, Tracy Westbrook and wife, Jenny, Josh Westbrook and wife, Monica, Amy Hickson and husband, Dustin, Christopher Carter, Nathan Carter, Chad Westbrook, Chasity Westbrook, Kristin Mitchell and husband, Mark, Whitney Westbrook, eight great grandchildren.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Monday with burial to follow at Graham Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Ashby Funeral Home, Sunday, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Family comments: Jr. was a very loving man, who loved his wife, kids and grandkids with all of his heart. He was very proud to have served his country, earning the Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars.
