T. Dale McCoy, 86, Benton, died Sunday, July 29, 2012. He was born April 29, 1926, in Marvel, AR, attended Little Rock public schools and graduated from Little Rock Central High where he was a member of Theta Kappa Omega fraternity. He served in the US Navy during WWII, attended the University of Tennessee where he was a fraternity member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rite, and a member of First Christian Church. He spent 25 years with Commercial Credit and subsidiary companies, retiring in 1986 to enjoy his favorite hobby, golf.

He married Lu Anne Worsham in 1972 and has three living step children. Sandra Wyatt of Dover, AR; Marc Worsham of Dover, AR; Danny Worsham of London, AR, eight grandchildren and a cousin, Alyce Jean Zini of Grove, OK and eight nieces and nephews.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Traci Worsham; brother, Jack McCoy; a sister, Eloise Archer; an aunt, Marie McCoy Sims; and a cousin, J. Bryan Simms, Jr.

Funeral services will be 4:30 p.m. Thursday, August 2 at Ashby Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
