Adam Cornell Johnson, age 47, of Benton, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023.  He was born August 23, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Adam was a Chef and a member of Lakeview Assembly of God in Hot Springs.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Osburn; father, Dale Johnson; and sister-in-law, Whitney Johnson.

Adam is survived by his wife, Kristin Johnson, which he called her Fish; daughter, Esme Johnson; step-daughter, Annie Dees; brother-in-law, William "BJ" Selman; sister-in-law, Lindsay Johnson; mother-in-law, Bridget Johnson (Irwin Poche); father-in-law, Richard Johnson (Treva); aunts, Sandra Johnson and Ann Walker; uncle, Scott Johnson; nieces, Chloe Parrish and Maya Selman; his Brothers in Christ, Stacy Matheny and Joshua Manis; and a host of people he considered close friends and family.

He was a big, fantastic hugger.  Adam had a huge smile that he loved flashing.  He was a phenomenal cook and loved cooking for the ones he loved.  Adam adored his wife and especially his daughter Esme.  She was the light of his life and his little "Slick".  Their relationship was so special.  He loved dancing and listening to music.  Adam shared lots of special times at family gatherings with lots of love, cooking, and music.

Adam had a special bond with BJ and Lindsay.  Adam and BJ were the best of brothers.  He loved his dogs Rosie and Wednesday like his kids.

He has a great host of family and friends who cared for, loved, and will miss him greatly.
