Alvin Clay Bryant, age 76, of Benton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024.  He was born July 25, 1947 in Benton, Arkansas.  Alvin was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a former machinist for Parker-Hannifin Corp.  He enjoyed being outdoors; especially hunting and fishing.  Alvin loved his church, Grape Chapel Church of God & Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and being with family & pestering his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo & Mary Bryant; his first wife, Johnnie I. Bryant; and his siblings, Leo Bryant Jr., Mary Edmonson, Bobby Bryant, Alice Woodall, and Richard Dale Bryant.

Alvin is survived by his wife, Brenda Bryant; son, Dustin Clay Bryant (Katherine); two daughters, Haley Morgan Roy (KW) and Melissa Michelle Waynescott; and thirteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14 at Ashby Funeral Home.  John Baxley and Clint Chism will be officiating.
