Andrew "Drew"
Allen
Jun 10, 1996 — Dec 19, 2024
Bryant
Andrew "Drew" Allen, of Bryant, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 28. He was born on June 10, 1996, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and lived a life full of passion, loyalty, and a love for adventure.
Drew spent his childhood exploring almost every sport before focusing on football and wrestling in high school, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and teamwork. This love for being part of a team seamlessly transitioned into his decade of service in the National Guard. As a forward observer in the 206 Field Artillery, Drew forged strong bonds and lasting camaraderie with his fellow soldiers.
His passion for history, especially World War II battles and tanks, was boundless, and he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with anyone who would listen.
Drew felt most at home in the outdoors. Whether perched in a stand for deer hunting, out on the lake duck hunting, or riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle through the scenic Arkansas countryside, he found peace and joy in nature.
Recently, Drew's work led him to the oil fields of West Texas and Southern New Mexico, where he embraced the challenges of his job and appreciated the beauty of the landscape. His loyalty and devotion to his family and friends were unmatched—Drew was always willing to drop everything to help those he cared about.
Drew is survived by his parents, Joey and Sarah Allen; his sister, Victoria Allen; and his bonus brother, Chad Adams (Ali). He also leaves behind his grandparents, Tim and Pat Allen of Benton, AR, and Mary Lou Wilkinson of Russellville, AR. He will be missed by many aunts and uncles, including Noma Kellner (Chris) of Russellville, AR; David Wilkinson (Dawn) of Louisville, KY; Jessica Allen (Janet Bowers) of Benton, AR; Jennifer Collins (Nathan) of Harrison, AR; and Jeannie Garnet of Cabot, AR. Drew was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry Wilkinson, his uncle Banks Wilkinson and a cousin Grace Kellner.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28 at Ashby Funeral Home with a Celebration of Drew's Life beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
The family asks for donations to the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency (ARORA) or K9s for Warriors in his memory.
Drew will always be remembered for his loyal heart, adventurous spirit, and the happiness he brought to everyone who knew him.
