Ann Broadway, age 90, of Bauxite, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 in Benton, Arkansas.  She was born in Paris, Texas on January 21, 1934.  Ann was the daughter of John Henry Clark and Annie Mae Choate.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rebekah Sandavol; her parents; brothers, Andrew Clark & wife Elizabeth, Leander Clark, and L.D. Clark; sister, Carrie Mae Taylor; and one great-grandson.

Ann is survived by the love of her life, John Broadway; daughters, Janice Silva & husband Danny and Jamie Frankson & husband Peter; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.  As there is no in-laws in the family, she is also survived by sisters, Audrey Webb, Bobbie Edmonson, and Brenda Smith & husband Earl; and many friends.

Mom worked at several jobs after being a stay at home mom for 18 years.  She was a truck driver and a nurse's aide.  Mom enjoyed many activities with her family.  She loved to make cheese logs, sausage balls, peanut brittle, and jerky for her family & friends; especially around the holidays.  Mom especially loved looking for bargains and haggling for the best price.  She never met a stranger and no one ever left her home empty handed.  Mom lived a very full & happy life and never hesitated to voice her opinions.  She will be greatly missed.

There will be no memorial service at her request. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Bryant.
