Ann Chambers Hope, age 87, of Benton, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was born September 13, 1936, in East St. Louis, Illinois. Her family moved to Benton when she was 6 when her father, Mark Chambers, was sent to build the Reynolds Metals Plant in Bryant. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Benton, an elementary school teacher, and a retired homemaker. She focused on raising her two sons and providing them with a loving home. She loved everyone with her entire heart. She and Bill, Sr., were known for taking friends into their home in times of need. Lately, her best days were spent sitting on the back porch, watching the ducks on the lake with her coffee, and all of her family and friends being around.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Pat Chambers; husband, William (Bill) Hope, Sr.; her sister, Ruthie Jones, and daughter-in-law, Brenda G. Hope.
Ann is survived by two children, William (Bill) Hope, Jr. (Debbie), and Richard C. Hope (Robin); three grandchildren, William W.
