Barbara Crook, 89, of Bryant, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Bryant, Arkansas. She was born on August 25, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan.

Barbara dedicated many years of her life to working at Dillards where she built lasting connections and contributed to her community. Beyond her professional life, she was deeply involved in service and ministry. She found joy in playing the role of Mrs. Santa Claus, bringing smiles to many during the holiday season.

Her faith was a guiding force in her life, and she was an active member of Christ Church Non-Denominational. She participated in prison ministry and devoted time to working in her church's kitchen and food pantry, ensuring those less fortunate had meals and support.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Everett (E.F.) Crook; her sister, Dorothy Bowman; her sons, Robert (Debra) Allen and Stephen Allen; her daughter, Janice "Jay" Colebank; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who cherished her presence.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Shirley Bennett and Janice Lemon; her son Loren Crook; and two great-great-grandchildren, Creedence McKinize and Maverick Qualls.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ashby Funeral Home, located at 108 W. Narroway Street in Benton, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will take place afterward at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002.

Barbara's kindness and dedication to helping others will be remembered by all who knew her.
