Betty Jean Adcock, age 84, of Bauxite, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024 at her home after battling almost 3 years with B-Cell Lymphoma. She was born June 18, 1939 in the DeRoche Community to Jessie and Lorene Anderson. She was a dedicated nurse and caregiver for over 35 years. She loved her family, fishing, flowers, and yard work.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Adcock, son, Gary Adcock, and seven siblings.

She will be greatly missed by her brother, JC Anderson (Michelle) of Zavalla, TX; sister, Brenda Wheeler (Arlen) of Bauxite, AR; five sons: Steven Adcock of Mobile, AL;  Randall Cordell (Toni) of Bauxite, AR; Larry Cordell (Patty) of Bauxite, AR; Robert Cordell of Bauxite, AR;  and David Cordell of Bauxite, AR; and Grandchildren: Zachary Adcock of Mobile, AL; Matthew Anderson (Crystal) of Zavalla, TX; Amanda Warford (Jacob) of Nashville, AR; Tiffany Earnest (Justin) of Glen Rose, AR; Alex Cordell (Lauren) of Bryant, AR; Zachary Cordell (Hailey) of Haskell, AR; Christina Peck (Tanner) of Alexander, AR; Holly Mitchell (Ervin) of West Helena, AR;  and a host of Great  Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday, February 19, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Ashby Funeral Home, 108 West Narroway St., Benton, AR  72015.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside service will follow at Prairie Bayou Cemetery, 19469 AR-84, Bismarck, AR 71929 at Noon.
