On May 9, 2026 Betty Lou Burrow, 71, of Benton, departed this Earth to be with her Lord and Savior.  She was born December 20, 1954 in Malvern, Arkansas.  Betty grew up in Traskwood and worked in Saline County her whole life.

Betty and her husband was owner & operator of Pines Drive Inn where they served up burgers, shakes, fries and 3 tacos for a $1.00 long before there was a Taco Bell.  Then for 27 years for the City of Benton, she read light and water meters AKA Big John's Little Street Walker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Miriam Johnson.

Betty is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Burrow; son, Travis Burrow; three sisters, Diane Rice, Noranna Marshall, and Emily McEuen; nephews; and many friends that were just like family to her.

A celebration of her life will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
