Betty Hill, age 80, of Alexander, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024.  She was born March 15, 1944.  Betty retired from Dillard's Department Store.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Farris & Mary Lou Woodson; husband, Elvin Hill; three children, Tonia Alexander Brown, Keith Coney, and Ronnie Elam; brother, Woody Howell; and a sister, Gail Howell.

Betty is survived by two sons, Roy Bryan Coney and Farris Eugene Coney; daughter-in-law, Jamie Coney; ten grandchildren, Brittany Holiman, Christopher Coney (Ashley), Michael Coney (Samantha), Talor Beene (Chance), Courtney Coney (Mason), Trent Brown (Kandice), Travis Brown (Nikki), Brandy Briner, Brent Wood, and Blake Wood; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Laura Patterson.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10 at Ashby Funeral Home.
