Betty Gay "Mimi" Mize, age 74 of Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully Thursday, July 24, 2025. She was born September 20, 1950 in Benton, AR to the late Georgia McCutcheon Hutchinson and Virgil McCutcheon. Betty owned a daycare for 40+ years, taking care of children was her true passion. Once she retired, she loved just being at home watching the news, and her soap operas. She always kept a close check on everyone. She loved cooking meals but baking was her favorite. Betty spent many of Wednesday's preparing dessert for Wednesday night church service. She kept Coca- Cola in business without a doubt. Betty loved hard and was loved by so many. She was the best wife, mom and mimi.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Georgia McCutcheon Hutchison and Virgil McCutcheon; sisters, Karen Siegrist, Linda Dempsey, and Sissy Avera; brother, Mickey McCutcheon.

She is survived by her precious husband, Charlie Mize, son, Rodney Allen and wife Melissa Allen; son Charles Matthew Mize and wife Dona Mize; daughter, Amy Mize Bradshaw; grandchildren, Taylor Stratton (Michael), Mollie Higgins (Colton), Madison Shellnut (Scotty), Bailey Allen, Mallorie Bradshaw, Matthew Mize, Brody Allen, Brantly Allen, Mason Mize, Lana Bates and Anthony Bates; great grandchildren, Lennie, Lawson, Georgia Kate, Sawyer, Logan, Charlee, Maverick, Remi, Bosstin, Brooklynn, Korbyn, Haygen and Jagger; and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Ashby's Funeral Home.

The visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2025 6-8pm and the funeral will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:00am. The burial will take place at Landmark Cemetery following services.
