Betty Narvella Smith, age 90, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on May 29, 2025, peacefully at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilitation, Benton, Arkansas. She was known by her Family and Friends as Narvella.

Narvella was born on October 14, 1934, in Lonoke County, Arkansas to Opal Christine Fairless Stevenson and Benjamin Harrison Stevenson. She married Henry Stanley Smith in November 1951.

Narvella was a very devout Christian and until recently attended Freewill Baptist Church, Benton, Arkansas, on a regular basis.

Narvella was preceded in death by her father, her husband, her mother, as well as three brothers, Odis, Robert and Bennie.  She is survived by five sisters, Margaret Lee of Ward, Chris White of Benton, Pearl Borque of Mableton, GA, Brenda Lynch & Joyce Allen of Alexander and numerous nieces and nephews as well as Friends.

Visitation will be held at Ashby Funeral Home, Benton, Arkansas on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 9:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00am.  Interment will be at Pinecrest Cemetery, Alexander, Arkansas, following the service.

Pallbearers will be Kevin White, Cooper White, Taylor McNary, Shane McNary, Robert Criswell and Michael Doughit.
