Bobby (Bob) Jean Green, age 86, of Benton, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Saline Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 7, 1938 in Mountain Pine, Arkansas to Jack and Mona Green.

He retired from Alcoa after 32 years and was a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 50 years Shirley Green, sister Joyce Corley, sister n laws Virginia Harper, Catherine Smith, & Linda Harper.  Brother in laws Jerry Harper, Steve Harper, and grandson Preston Green.

Bob is survived by two sons, Jerry Green(Marcia) and Robert Green(Amy); daughter, Laura Greer(Jamey); four grandchildren, Dillon Greer, Nathan Green, Bodie Greer, Paige Greer.  And special friend Kay Collins and his part-time fur friends, Coco, Missy, & Lucy.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding around in his side by side. He spent many hours working on four wheelers and turned a hobby into quite a side business.  Bob was a founding member of Green's Hunting Club and spent many days at Lake Ouachita.  He was also a member of the Arkansas National Guard from 1957-1962.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Greer, Nathan Green, Bodie Greer, Jeremy Harper, Scott Gossett, & Tommy Bodkin.

Visitation will be 11:00 to 12:00 noon Friday, December 27 at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 12:00 noon.  Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
