Bobby Gene Morris, age 61, of Mabelvale, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.  He was born January 10, 1962 in Perryville, Arkansas. Bobby was a self-employed handyman and loved to fish, camp & have bonfires, watch wrestling, & spending time with family that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie & Minzie Morris; two siblings, Benny Morris and Joyce Williams; and a nephew, Leon Long.

Bobby is survived by seven siblings, Barbara Long, Betty Sanders (Mike), Jessie Morris (Sherry), Judy Morris, Freda Hirby (Ralph), Billy Morris (Tonya), and Lisa Calhoun (Tom); and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  He had a special bond with Christopher Holt (Sundee) and Ethan Pritchard.  The family would like to acknowledge special nieces that helped care for him in his last days, Kerry Jenkins (Anthony), Jessica Pritchard, Sarah Egan, and Kasdy Shelton (John).

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 2 at Ashby Funeral Home.  Teresa Finch will be officiating.
