Brett J. Haley, age 60, of Glen Rose, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  He was born March 7, 1962 in Victoria, Texas.  Brett graduated from Benton High School and Arkansas Tech University where he was a kicker.  He graduated with an Advertising Art Degree.

He was employed at Glen Rose School District, where he was the In-School Suspension teacher, bus driver, and football & softball coach.  His love for softball and his girls was second to none.

Brett is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lamar & Mable Haley, Hubbard & Polly Breitweiser; and one grandson, Hunter Dean Goff.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald & Janelle Haley; his wife, Tresa Edmonson Haley; four children, Brittany (Justin) Goff, Blake Haley all of Booneville, Stephen Hill and Stephanie Bryant of Benton; six grandchildren, Callie, Claralee, Austin, Caleb, Brooklyn, and Micah; one sister, Cathy Haley; and a host of family, friends, and brothers & sisters in Christ at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Glen Rose Arena with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m.  There will be a private burial at Fairplay Cemetery.
