Calvin "Phillip" Birch, 76, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on September 20, 1949, in Dermott, Arkansas, Phillip was the son of Howard Calvin Birch and May Dell Phillips Birch. He graduated from McGehee High School, earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Arkansas National Guard, and later enjoyed a long career with Remington.

On August 26, 1988, Phillip married Kennie Bailey Birch.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Kennie Birch. His children include Michael "Bircho" Birch, Phillip Austin Birch, Christopher Michael New (Tricia), and Bill Atherton (Roxie). He is also survived by his grandson, Joseph William Birch; his sister, Mary Jane Wygal (Brian); and so many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Calvin Birch and May Dell Phillips Birch, and his sons, Michael Birch and Phillip Birch.

A memorial service will be held at Saline Independent Methodist Church at 1pm July the 9th. 306 South Main Street Benton AR.
