Obituary

Carl Freddie Blohm, 86, of Benton, went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2024. He was born April 15, 1938 in Bauxite, Arkansas, to Carl F. and Margie (Barrow) Blohm. He graduated from Benton High School and had degrees from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock and CABBI in Benton. Freddie was saved at the age of 24 and called by the Lord into the Gospel Ministry. He pastored churches in Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. Freddie worked at AMF Bicycle Factory in Little Rock and retired from the Benton Service Center where he was an LPTN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and an infant sister. He is survived by his sisters Naomi Holmes of Silver City, N.M.; Louise Amos of Sedalia, Mo; Linda Blohm of Benton; and Martha (Bill) Mangum) of Benton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Freddie and will miss him always.

Arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home, Benton, AR. Services will be at Ashby Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will precede the services at 9:00 a.m. Bro. Chris Floyd and Bro. Marcus Blakely will officiate. Burial will be at Pipkin Cemetery, Congo Road.
