With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her beautiful life, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carol Sue Russell age 81, of Bryant, who went home to be with the Lord on May 9th, 2025. She was born March 2, 1944 in Rock Island, Illinois.

She lived a life filled with grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family. A woman of faith, kindness, and generosity, she always put her family's needs above her own. Her gentle spirit and warm hugs were gifts to everyone blessed to know her.

She is survived by her loving children: Rhonda Huckaby and her husband Jeff; Robert Russell; Melissa Johnson and her husband Jimmy; and her cherished grandchildren: Josh Russell; Lindsey Rooks and husband Josh; Taylor Norman and husband Carter; Nicole Cumming and husband Travis; Raejan Russell; and Blake Johnson; her great grandchildren: Helen Rooks; Blaire Rooks; and Emersyn Norman. Her legacy lives on in their lives.

We will forever miss her smile, and the peace of simply being with her. But we take comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and surrounded by eternal joy.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 16th at 4:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church,10765 Samples Rd, Alexander, AR  72002.
