With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Carolyn Sue (Bain) Kessinger, who left this world on July 22, 2024, at the age of 76. Carolyn was born on May 3, 1948, in Litchfield, IL, to William and Velma Bain (Easterly). She grew up in Litchfield, graduating from Litchfield High School Class of 1966 before continuing her education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Carolyn worked in the field of accounting at various businesses, including Roller Derby and Echlin.

She was a skilled and talented crafter, known for her patience and attention to detail in the baskets, quilts, and wreaths she lovingly created. She enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to live in Illinois, Colorado, Virginia, Texas, and Arkansas.

Carolyn was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who had deep pride in her family.  She is survived by her husband Loren Kessinger, Jr; sister, Donna Munson; her four children, Jana Wade, Diane Taylor, Austin Towell, and Stephanie Kessinger; and grandchildren Ethan Richards, Will and Wyatt Taylor, Marcus and Dathan Towell, and Henry Sporer.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private memorial service will be held at the VA cemetery in North Little Rock, AR. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County AR.
