Carroll Lee Brown, age 90, of Bryant, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. He was born August 22, 1934 in Humnoke, Arkansas to the late Arlon & Princess Brown. Carroll was a 1954 graduate of Benton High School. He served in the Air National Guard and worked for 25 years at Alcoa where he served as the president of the Local 4880 Union. After retirement, he became an ordained minister with the Arkansas Assemblies of God and pastored in several positions in the central Arkansas area.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Eubanks Brown; son, Calvin Brown; and a great-grandson, Mateo Brown.
Carroll is survived by his sister, Hazel Brown Davis; four children, Cathy Faulkner, Arlon Brown (Valerie), Melissa Ray (Roy), and Russell Brown; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Carpenter, Adam Carpenter, Ben Brown, Andrew Ray, Clay Trimble, and Sam Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Thornton Ray, Ryan Brown, David Gomez, and Alex Gomez.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25 at First Assembly of God Church in Benton with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Alan Womack and Gene Huskey will be officiating.
