Cecil Ray Rickard, age 90, of Benton, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023.  He was born March 26, 1933 in Paron, Arkansas.   He was a member of East Smith Street Church of Christ.  Cecil worked for McGeorge Construction Co. for many years and retired as a foreman.

He is preceded in death by sons, Monte Ray Rickard and Ronnie D. Rickard; previous wife, Madean Rickard; sister, Lorene Lambert; son-in-law, Ron Crawley; and grandson, Jeremy S. Rickard.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Jean Rickard; son, Donnie Rickard (Sherry); daughters, Cindy Crawley, Melinda Murtha; and Kristy Cordell (Joel); step-children, Mike McGrew (Sherry), David McGrew, and Denise Darnell (Terry); thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2023 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Rosemont Cemetery.
