Charles Curtis "Curly" Jacobs age 90 of Benton passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born June 12, 1935 in Tull, Arkansas. He worked for Alcoa as a Millwright for 44 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth McKelvey Jacobs, daughter, Kimberly Ruth Jacobs, brother, Richard Vincent Jacobs, parents, Charles Ewell Jacobs and Gladys Myrtle Zahringer Jacobs.

He is survived by children, John Charles Jacobs, Carolyn Alisa Nagel, Sharon Louise Gaines and Vincent Curtis Jacobs; sisters, Lou Ann Hopkins (Johnny), Betty Jayne Rollon (Grady), 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Curly was one of a kind, a perfectionist in many ways. For example, when he mowed his yard each row would be as straight as a stretched string. He loved cars, as a teenager and raced down 35 highway many times with his buddies. Keeping his cars spotless was most important. He seriously studied the racing forms for his daily picks.

Public viewing is Saturday, March 21 through Wednesday March 25 at Ashby's Funeral Home in Benton.

Visitation with family before service at 10:00 to 11:00 Thursday.

Funeral is Thursday, March 26 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 8319 N. Main Street, Tull, AR. 72015.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
