Charles Prewitt, 78, of Bryant went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was a proud graduate of Mabelvale High School, Class of 1965, and continued his education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He dedicated his career to service, retiring after many years as a Service Manager for Superior Spring Company in North Little Rock and later for Hilbilt Trailer Sales in Benton.

Charles was a man of deep faith and community spirit. He was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Bryant and a devoted servant of the Masonic community. He was a member and Past Master of Adoniram Masonic Lodge #288, a member of the Scottish Rite of Little Rock, and a proud member of the Scimitar Shrine Temple. Within the Shrine, he brought joy to many as a member of the clown unit and had the distinguished honor of serving as the Potentate in 2002.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Prewitt of Little Rock, and his sister, Enid Mooney of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Judy, and his three sons: Charles (Yvette) Prewitt of San Antonio, Texas; Brian (Renee) Prewitt of Bryant, Arkansas; and Jeff (Megen) Prewitt of Fort Smith, Arkansas. His legacy also lives on through his 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Moore, Leroy Kyzer, Warren Bankson, David Hendrix, Dennis Adams, and Aaron Prewitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Shepard and Wayne Young.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Bryant with Bro. Phillip Miller and Bro. John Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, conducted by the members of Adoniram Masonic Lodge #288.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service at First Baptist Church of Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either First Baptist Church of Bryant, the Missionary Baptist Seminary, or the Shriners Hospitals.
