Cheryl Ann
Turner
May 13, 1960 — Aug 10, 2025
Benton
Cheryl Ann Turner, born May 13, 1960, in Benton, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2025. Cheryl was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Cheryl was baptized there in 1991 on the same day as her son Aaron and her daughter Erica — a moment she cherished for the rest of her life. She lived each day with faith, kindness, and love for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Betty Reynolds of Benton, Arkansas.
Cheryl's legacy lives on through her children, Aaron Turner (Amanda) and Erica Taylor; her cherished grandchildren, Avery Jones, Madi Grace Turner, Presley Capshaw, Palmer Capshaw, and Paitynn Capshaw; and her one precious great-granddaughter, Remi Kate DeLeon. She is also survived by her brothers, Mark Reynolds (Belinda) and Richard Reynolds, along with many family members and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Cheryl had a gift for making others feel seen and loved. Whether it was through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a simple act of kindness, she touched countless lives. She found joy in her family's milestones, pride in her children and grandchildren, and peace in her faith. Those who knew her will remember her as a woman of quiet strength, unwavering love, and a heart that always had room for more.
Caring for others wasn't just something Cheryl did — it was part of who she was. She found her true calling in serving the elderly, spending most of her career in this special community. She had a way of making every person feel valued, respected, and loved, forming countless friendships along the way. For Cheryl, it wasn't just a job — it was her ministry, her niche, and one of the greatest joys of her life.
Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16 at Ashby Funeral Home with a Celebration of Her Life beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who have been part of Cheryl's life — whether through friendship, love, or care. She will be deeply missed, but we find peace in knowing she was saved and is now rejoicing in Heaven for all eternity.
