Cliff Hobby, 87, of Benton, passed away on November 29, 2025. Born November 11, 1938, in Arkansas, Cliff was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud Grandpa whose greatest joy was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell Hobby and Alta Abercrombie, and sisters Charlotte and Clara.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hobby; sons Dan Hobby (Kathy) and Casey Hobby (Brook) of Benton, and daughter Deanne Stewart of Lake Stevens, Washington, sister, Fran Johnson (Gary Cook), brother, Carroll (Lori) Hobby and many extended family members and friends. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Paul Hobby (Holly), Christopher Hobby, Rachel Mills, Hannah Hobby, Adam Hobby (Bailey), Morgan Johnson (Alex), Gabrielle Jablonski (Kevin), Maycee Curtis (Austin), Anslee Hobby, and Holly Snook, and nine great-grandchildren: Kharma, Layla, Inara, Arianna, Nora Jade, Minor, Everleigh, Oaklynn, and Walker.

Cliff will be remembered for his gentle heart, steady presence, and the love he showed to everyone around him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 5th, Visitation from 1:00–2:00 p.m. with services starting at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Benton, Selph Hall, 211 S. Market St., Benton, AR.
