A Tribute to My Mother, Cindy.
I have fond memories of my Mother's creativity and boundless love. I remember her hands were always busy creating. She was a master of arts and crafts, transforming everyday items into treasures for school projects and filling our home with inspiration. She poured herself into her role as my Brownie and Girl Scout leader, spending countless hours meticulously planning exciting outings and fun-filled parties for my troop. She didn't just lead; she documented our journey, creating scrapbooks that preserved every piece of our artwork.
I will forever cherish the unique gifts born from her talent: the custom hand bags, the elaborate costumes for plays and Halloween parties, and the perfectly stitched Barbie clothes.
Beyond the crafts and the scrapbooks, my most profound gratitude stems from her extraordinary love during my darkest times. When I faced a life-threatening diagnosis, including cancer, it was her unwavering dedication and constant prayers that helped see me through the toughest moments of my life. I will never forget her traveling to Florida to be by my side, providing comfort and strength when I needed it most. She was my rock, my guardian, and my most dedicated champion.
Her spirit, strength, and endless love will remain with me always. I will miss her beyond measure. With all my love, Shawn Grace

Family Tribute (from her granddaughter Brittnay Jennings):
Her granddaughter, who lovingly called her "My Gee," remembers her as the most amazing grandmother in the world — kind, understanding, and always a true friend. Some of her happiest childhood memories were made at Gee's side: sewing Barbie clothes together, crafting handmade Halloween costumes, and playing with dolls for hours. She treasures the cross-country trip they took with their family, traveling through the Redwood Forest, Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, and so many of the country's great landmarks — adventures that left a lifelong imprint. As she grew older, Gee remained the person she called on her hardest days, someone she could talk to for hours with ease and comfort. Though distance kept them apart at times, their bond never faded. She is heartbroken that Gee did not get the chance to meet her daughter, Harper, but finds peace knowing that Gee can now watch over her — her guardian angel, finally free from pain. Her love, her warmth, and her gentle presence will be missed every single day.

Family Tribute (from Cindy's grandson Charlie Jennings):
I remember my grandmother as Gee — though her name was Cindy, she will always be "Gee" in my heart. She was a remarkably kind and sweet soul, someone who always put others before herself and went out of her way to make everyone around her feel loved and cared for. She especially watched over me and my sister, making sure we were safe, happy, and never without her gentle presence.
Gee took us on adventures across the United States, creating memories that will stay with us forever. From the redwood forests to Mount Rushmore and the Grand Canyon, she showed us the beauty of the world, even if I was too young to remember every detail clearly. What I do remember is her love for collecting magnets from every place we visited. Each one told a story, and I can still picture sitting with her for hours as she pointed to them, sharing tales of where she had been, alongside the countless photos she somehow always had.
She had such a giving and creative heart. She sewed me outfits with her own hands and even helped turn my room into a football-themed space just to make me smile. She always kept up with our lives, proudly announcing whenever one of her grandchildren achieved something special. Her calls to check on us, to make sure we were okay, were constant reminders of how deeply she loved us.
One of my most cherished memories is Thanksgiving with her, standing in line at Cracker Barrel for three hours just for good food and time together. Moments like that feel as if they happened only yesterday.
Though I wish I could have seen her one last time before she passed, I find peace in knowing she is now free from pain, watching over us with the same love and devotion she showed in life. Cindy "Gee" leaves behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and unconditional love that will live on through those who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
