Dana Michelle Hester, age 59, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2025.  She was born January 1, 1966 in Benton, Arkansas.  Dana was an Insurance Agent for Farmer's Union and of the Baptist Faith.  She was part of the Children's Ministry at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church for over 15 years.  Also, Dana led the music & was part of the Youth Ministry at North Fork Missionary Baptist Church and led the music at Old Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leeman Nalley.

Dana is survived by her husband, Sammy Hester; two children, Hayden Hester (Lauren) and Mimi Vernon (Tyler); mother, Myrtle Sossamon Nalley; brother, Scotty Nalley; sister, Credonna Wooley; three grandchildren, Dayton, Leevi, and Sylis Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Walnut Bottoms Cemetery in Paron.
