Danny Joe Spears, age 68, of Shannon Hills, passed away on Friday August 4, 2023. He was born September 24, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Danny was a retired fork lift operator, US Marine Corp Veteran, and of the Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard M. Spears & Ruby Childress Spears and a sister, Brenda Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hampton Spears; two sons, Shawn Spears and Robert Spears; two daughters, Cindy Ellis and Kelly Timmy; six brothers, Jimmy Spears, Howard Spears, Don Spears, Darvin Spears, Carl Spears, and Allen Spears; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, August 7 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 8 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bauxite. Bro. Dave Carlson will be officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Owners and Employees of Wood Grill.
