David Wayne Baxley, age 56, of Traskwood, passed away Saturday April 26, 2025.  He was born February 20, 1969 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  David was of the Baptist faith and a self-employed painter.  He loved to turkey hunt, deer hunt, fish, and play horseshoes.

He is survived by his mother, Charlotte McClendon (William); father, John Baxley (Betty); sister, Kelly Renee Raper (Danny); brother, Russell Baxley (Lisa); step-sister, Traci Rolett (Jason); step-brother, Eddie McClendon (Jessica); and several nieces, nephews, & cousins.

A celebration of David's life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2 at Grape Chapel Church of God on Hwy 298 in Benton.  Kevin Sims and John Baxley will be officiating.
