David Wayne Sellers, age 58, of Alexander, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.  He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 30, 1967 to Curtis and Doris Sellers.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.  David was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for the outdoors.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he found peace and purpose in nature.  David especially enjoyed passing his knowledge down to his nieces and nephews, teaching them not only skills of hunting and fishing, but the life lessons they carried – patience, respect, and appreciation for the world around them.

David is survived by his mother, Doris Sellers; his brother, Jimmy Sellers; and his sisters, Judy and Katha. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Sellers; two brothers, William and Chris; two nieces, Cassie and Angel; and one nephew, Bradley.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him – through stories shared around a campfire, quiet moments in the woods, and the values he instilled in the next generation.  He will be remembered not only for his love of the outdoors, but for the goodness in his heart and the steady kindness he showed others.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14 at Ashby Funeral Home.
