It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Dewey Richard

Sutton known to most as Billy, who passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025,

at the age of 81. Billy was born on December 27, 1943, in Bauxite, Arkansas, to Floyd and Irene Sutton.

From a young age, he carried with him the values that would define his life: hard work,

quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to family. He spent many years working as a Master Electrician at Reynolds and also proudly served in the Arkansas National Guard. Billy never sought the spotlight, but he was always the one you could rely on, steady, dependable, and strong. He led by example, showing those around him how to live with integrity, humility, and love.

Billy found joy in the simple things: casting a line into the water, swapping stories on the

porch, or packing up for a road trip to somewhere new. He had a calm patience especially when the fish weren't biting and a dry sense of humor that could lift your spirits when you needed it most. He loved deeply, worked hard, and lived quietly, but left an impact that will last for generations.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Louise Sutton; his parents,

Floyd and Irene; his brothers, Ralph and Conrad Sutton; and his sister, Peggy Webb.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Karen Curtis (Jay) and Kim Stuckey (Howard);

grandchildren, Cody Stuckey (Isreal Summitt), Bryce Stuckey (Samantha), Mitchell

Curtis (Hannah), and Ethan Curtis (Madison); and great-grandchildren, Ivory Stuckey,

Brooke Stuckey, and James Curtis. He also leaves behind many extended family

members and friends who will carry his memory with them always. Though his hands are now at rest, they leave behind a lifetime of work, care, and loving hands that built, held, fixed, and hugged. His legacy lives on in the stories he told, the lessons he lived, and the family he loved so well.

A graveside service will be held Friday October 3rd at 2:00 PM at New Friendship

Cemetery.
