Dewhyne E. Stoops, age 56, of Mabelvale, left this earth to be with the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2025.  He was born June 4, 1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Dewhyne is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie L. Stoops & Loreen F. Beck Stoops and a sister, Tina Gordon.

He had been a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he enjoyed helping with Sunday School.  Dewhyne enjoyed his work with Amazon as a Fulfillment Associate and cherished all the friendships he made there.

He is survived by his wife, Bryna Stoops; brother, Larry Stoops (Tonya); and sister, Patricia Morgan (Leroy).  Dewhyne was a devoted "Uncle Wayne" to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 3 at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.  Pastor Bruce Gilmore Sr. will be officiating.
