Don Stephen Wise, 72, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love. Born May 23, 1953, in Little Rock to Wilbur Don Wise and Billie Jean Welch, Don grew up in Benton as the eldest of four siblings.

He proudly served 25 years in the United States Air Force, supporting major operations at the end of the Vietnam War and later during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. While stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines, Don met his wife of 50 years, Jocelyn Castiociano. Together they raised three sons—Derald, Manfred, and Scott—each of whom went on to serve in the U.S. military, a source of great pride for Don.

After retiring from active duty, Don continued supporting the warfighter as a government consultant, helping to develop advanced military training programs. A lifelong tinkerer and technologist, he found joy in mentoring Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines.

Upon returning to Benton, Don became an active member of Congo Masonic Lodge No. 743, where he cherished the fellowship of his Masonic brothers and the many gatherings and travels, they shared.

Don will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to family, country, and community.

Don is survived by his wife Jocelyn, and three sons; Derald Wise and his wife Nicole of Raleigh, NC and their children Isabella and Gabriel; Manfred Wise and his wife Vanessa of Reidsville, NC and their children Harley and Madeline; Scott Wise; Sister Wendy Roberts of Benton, AR.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery @ 1501 West Maryland Avenue in North Little Rock, Ar.  72120.
