Donald Bruce McDaniel, 71, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

A quiet and steady soul, Donald was known for his strength, hard work, and meticulous nature. He approached everything in life with care and precision, whether it was a project around the house or lending a helping hand to someone in need. Carpentry was his passion — a craft he poured his heart into — creating things that reflected his patience, skill, and eye for detail.

Donald was a man of few words, but his presence spoke volumes — a gentle strength that his family and friends could always count on. He found joy in simple things: a job well done, a day spent with family, and the peace of a life built on honesty and integrity.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Renita McDaniel; his daughters Nicole McDaniel and Ashley McDaniel (Aaron Watts), and his son Zac McDaniel (Leona Glass); seven grandchildren who adored him, Haley Johnston, Blake Huffman, Reese Hinkle, Kate Huffman, Estelle McDaniel, Maximus Ross, and Nova Walls; and one great-grandchild, Asher Haze on the way who will grow up hearing stories of his quiet strength and love. He is also survived by his brothers Jackie McDaniel, Tim McDaniel, and Kim McDaniel.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Marie McDaniel and brother Danny Ray McDaniel.

Donald's legacy lives on in the family he built, the love he gave, and the example he set — steady, humble, and strong.

A graveside will be Thursday October 9, 2025 at 2:00pm at Rosemont Cemetery where family and friends will gather to honor the man who built not just things with his hands, but a lifetime of love and devotion.
