Doris Catherine Brock, 99, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025. Born in Richville, Oklahoma on October 3, 1925, Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Doris is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James Brock, and seven children: Jan Leslie, Danny (Sherry) Giacomo, Robert Giacomo, Anthony Giacomo, Diana (Steve) Costa, Jimmy Dale Giacomo, and Daphne (Jeffrey) Pfeiffer. She was a cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren, a proud great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren, and a delighted great-great-grandmother to nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Judy Lindley; her parents, James Storrie and Janet Clelland Storrie; her sisters, Marion Seamans and Lois Barnes; and her brothers, James Storrie and Robert Donald Storrie.

A service in honor of Doris will be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas, on May 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Bryant, Arkansas.

Doris loved gardening, wildflowers, birdwatching, and dancing. She will be remembered for her sparkling blue eyes, her sense of humor, her strength, her kindness and warmth, and the love she brought to all her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Doris and her daughter Judy.
