Obituary

Dwaine Leon Still, 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on October 13, 2025. Leon was born on October 27, 1942 in Disney, Oklahoma. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Malvern.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents Eulis and Hazel Still and step-mother Edna; twin brother Ladon and sister Jolene.

He is survived by his wife Linda Joyce (Morgan) Still; sons Steve (Lisa) Still and Rick (Sherrie) Still of Hot Springs; and daughter Debbie (Kent) Ramsey of Benton. Leon was a devoted and loving husband to Linda for 63 years. They enjoyed hunting and fishing together and loved to travel. The couple spent many years at the lake raising their family and lived on the lake after retirement. Leon and Linda were married May 18th on the night of her high school graduation. His love for the lake was something he shared with his children and grandchildren. He taught them how to ski, bait a trotline, fish, and drive the boat. Those lessons and memories will be cherished forever. Leon was a hardworking and dedicated man. He served five years in the Army National Guard and worked for Alcoa for 31 years. He never missed a day of work, one day he actually walked to work in the snow because his truck would not start in the cold weather.
