Eddie P. Greer, Sr. 61 of Benton, passed away on April 16, 2023.  He was born on October 28, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas to Lloyd Ivey and Edna Pruitt Ivey.

Eddie was an auctioneer most of his life and was a scrap metal collector and recycler.  He worked from sun up until sun down.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Ivey, brother, Freddie Greer and sister, Phillisa Baker.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Janice Collins Greer, sons, Greg (Larissa) Greer of Bryant and Eddie Greer, Jr., Benton, mother, Edna Ivey, brothers, Lloyd Ivey, Jr. of Bauxite and sisters, Anna Ivey of Benton and Cheri Ivey; grandchildren, Kensey and Eddie Robert Greer.

Pallbearers will be Pat Thornton, Prentis Field, Adrain Greer, Brince Camp, Andy Lin and Lloyd Ivey, Jr.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating. Burial will follow at Social Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Ashbys, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
