Edgar Lee Wine age 93, of Bryant passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born November 24, 1931 in Little Rock. Edgar was retired from the Bryant Schools where he worked in maintenance and also as a school bus driver, and door greeter at Benton, Walmart for over 15 years. Edgar was a US Army Korean War Veteran serving from 1951 to 1953.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Wine and Martha Ann Woody.

Survivors, wife of 68 wonderful years, Maxine McGinley Wine, son, Terry Wine, daughter and son-in-law, Kelle (Phil) Patterson, beloved granddaughter, Stephanie and her husband Zach, great-grandsons, Luke and Hunter, and special friends, James and Mary Stearns.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 12:00PM Tuesday at Pine Crest Cemetery. Officiating will be Ralph Nelson and Chris Treat.
