Elaine Galusha "Momma E.", 82, of Sardis, left this world Thursday, April 18th 2024.  She was born February 24, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Edward and Helen Marshall.  Elaine peacefully inhaled on earth and exhaled in heaven.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Smith L. Galusha of 62 years; her loving son, Smitty; one of her best friends Monica "Mo" Heidenthal; and her fur baby, Jacob.

Elaine is survived by her brother, Sam Marshall (Sandra) of California; her God Given Kid's, Sheryl and Jeff Drye (family); her best friends, Vernon and Janace Wood of Tennessee; and special family, Bob Heidenthal and Trina Barnes both of Sardis.

She was a long-time member of the Sardis United Methodist Church and loved her church & church family dearly.  In her early years; she and Smith would love to travel and sell their arts & crafts.  Elaine loved working in her yard & garden keeping them both beautiful and doing puzzles.  She was a great cook & loved trying new dishes; also loved to decorate for EVERY season possible!

To many people in the neighborhood she was known as Mrs. Elaine, but to those she considered family she quickly became Momma E.  She enjoyed spending deck time with her family & friends and having olives in the evening where we would solve the World's problems as we called it.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
