Elisabeth Ann Moss, age 82, died March 7, 2024 in her home with her children at her side. She was born in Little Rock, AR December 9, 1941, the only child of James Alvin and Florene Kennedy Gipson.

After graduating from Benton HS in 1959, she followed in her mother's footsteps, first to the U of AR—Fayetteville, where she earned her BSE, and then into Elementary Education in Benton Public Schools. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church—Benton, where she was a member of the Roundtable class and sang in the choir.  She had a deep love for music, animals, and her fellow man.

She was preceded in death by her beloved cat, "Tat," her parents JA and Florene Gipson, and recently her husband Marion Gene Moss, Sr., to whom she was married for 54 years.

She is survived by her children, Shannon Moss and Ashley Moss Dixon, both of Benton, and one grandchild, Kennedy Dixon, of Vancouver, WA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6, at 11 AM in the chapel at FUMC—Benton.
