Ella Mae Cantrell age 99, of Paron passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, She was born July 5, 1925 in Paron. Ella was a housewife and a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded by her parents, Ezra Johnson and Ethel Nethercutt Johnson; husband, Preston Cantrell; four sons, Terry, Jimmy, Doyle, and Jerry Cantrell; and a granddaughter, Christy Cantrell.

Ella is survived by her brother, Larry Johnson; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:30 Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gravel Hill Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. Gary Gipson.
