Eric Eckhardt, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Saline Memorial Hospital. Born on May 6, 1976, Eric was a devoted father, a beloved son, and a protective and caring older brother.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Dewayne Eckhardt (January 6, 1978 – November 25, 2003).

Eric is survived by his cherished son, Peyton Eckhardt; his parents, Ronnie Eckhardt and Belinda Taylor; his grandmother, Ivon Jarvis; his siblings, Alicia Eckhardt, Julie Jimenez, and Matthew Eckhardt; as well as his former wife, Crystal Eckhardt, the love of his life and the mother of his son and 5 nephews and 2 nieces who he loved very much.

Eric lived a full and vibrant life. A diehard fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys, he had a deep love for sports, family cookouts, and time spent with his loved ones. His joyful spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Eric was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Eric. We love you so much.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with service following at 11:00 AM.
