Eva Joyce Wallace McCann, age 84, of Benton; like her song that her and her husband wrote & sung, God welcomed her home on Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was born August 28, 1938 in Benton, Arkansas. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Ada & Jamie Pitcock; son, Mike Wallace; bonus daughter, Sandra McCann; and her brothers, John, Newton and Bill Pitcock.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin McCann; daughter, Diane Farr (Danny) of Traskwood; son, Curtis Wallace of Benton; bonus daughters, Carol Harp of Greenwood and Pamela Hampton of Jerusalem; sisters, Lola Covell of Little Rock and Irene Hanford (Tony) of California; four grandchildren, Stephanie McManus (Justin) of Benton, David Burrus (Kina) of Benton, Austin Wallace of Little Rock, and Arin Wallace of Little Rock; four great-grandchildren, Brayden Clayton of Benton, Valeri Clayton of Benton, Jaxon Burruss of Malvern, and Davin Burruss of Malvern; and numerous bonus grandchildren & bonus great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 23 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 24 at Kentucky Cemetery.
