Gary Hughes Koeneman ( Mr. Gary / Paw Paw ) 87, of Benton, Arkansas departed his earthly home on April 10, 2023 peacefully in his home after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 16, 1935 in Monette, MO to Henry and Bernetta Koeneman.

He was a graduate of Monette High School, where he met the love of his life Gloria. They were married on September 19, 1954.

Concrete Construction was his trade for 60 years with operating his own business, Triple "K" Construction, for 26 of those years in Memphis, TN.

Paw Paw, as everyone called him, was an avid hunter, a great fisherman, enjoyed watching horse racing, and spending time with his family and loved ones. He was a simple man who enjoyed life, his family, and the outdoors.

Gary is survived by his wife of 67 years Gloria Koeneman, 4 daughters: Debrah Browning (Boyce) of Benton, AR, Letricia Bloom of Haskell, AR Robin Nelson (Sue) of Little Rock, AR, and Kristen Emerson (Gary) of Hollis, AR, 1 brother: William (Bill) Koeneman of Arlington, TN, and loved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren who he was like a father to. He had 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his loyal companion JAKE that he leaves his legacy with.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Bernetta Koeneman, 2 sons: Michael Koeneman and Gary Si Koeneman, 1 grandson: Joseph Donnelly, and 1 great grandson: Ethan Koeneman.

His legacy will forever be in our hearts.

Graveside Services and internment will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Memphis Memory Gardens 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Memphis, TN 38134.
